Last week, we spoke about real HOPE. During the Sunday morning service, three young people gave their testimonies and then were baptized.

Please read in his own words, the life changing story of one of the young men, Joseph.

When I was five I went to VBS (vacation Bible School) and we had to put out our arms like Jesus was dying on the cross. Soon it began to hurt, and people started putting their arms down because they couldn't stand the pain, but I realized Jesus couldn't put His arms down. I then understood that Jesus went through a lot of pain for my sins. That made me feel very bad. So I prayed for God to forgive me. Then I wanted to be baptized, but my pastor at that time said I had to wait until I was 9 or 10. So I waited, but I continued to pray and believe. Now I am 10 and I want to be baptized.

How about you? Can you understand the pain He suffered for your sins? Joseph can. Maybe you can too?

Next time, another life changing story from one of the young people.

God is ready to change your life forever--if you'd let Him!
